Our Organization
Our mission is promoting rescue, rehabilitation, and responsible pet ownership. Fur Ever Friends, Inc. itself has no shelter, and operates totally through unpaid volunteers.
Our funding comes from donations. Thanks to the generosity of many people, our reach has extended far beyond our small rural community and enabled over 5000 puppies and dogs, kittens and cats to find a better life.

- Host Low-Cost Spay, Neuter, and Vaccination Clinics throughout the year.
- Subsidize spay/neutering fees when owners are unable to afford the surgery.
- Counsel animal care-givers with concerns about nutrition, feeding, weaning, fleas, training, behavior, grooming etc.
- Work cooperatively with other animal welfare organizations.
- Help rescu

- Help rescued animals in foster homes by subsidizing the cost of emergency veterinary care.
- Subsidize veterinary costs for critically ill or injured pets whose owners cannot afford to pay.
- Help seek foster care and new homes for beloved pets whose owners die, or became too old or ill to care for them anymore.
- Travel in cross-country relays to transport animals for adoption.
- Lend equipment such as a kennel, cages, pet carriers, dog houses, humane trap free of charge for short term use.
